Preparation before use.
1. Unscrew the dissolved oxygen membrane cap fitting from the electrode column.
2, Rinse the internal cathode/anode section with distilled water and then dry with a clean rag.
3. Add the electrode's own filling solution to the dissolved oxygen cap fitting and then rotate the electrolyte-filled cap onto the electrode column. Some of the solution may spill out of the threads during assembly, this is normal. Screw the cap as tightly as possible to ensure a tight connection between the cap and the column, but do not use too much force.4. Observe the dissolved oxygen membrane and ensure that the cathode section inside the electrode is connected to the dissolved oxygen membrane. Note: The dissolved oxygen membrane must be taut and not have any folds or tears.
5. Rinse the assembled electrode with distilled water, put it directly into the sheath and tighten it to be ready for use.
Note: polarisation is required after the first use or membrane change and takes approximately 15 minutes.
